Protesters in London

I had to take a document across the building to get it signed. I reach the office and as I open the door I notice that everyone is pressed against the windows. My jaw falls down: thousands of people crossing Waterloo Bridge, shouting, whistling, protesting. What an awesome sight.

I wish I had taken the day off.

Then I come back downstairs and cross a woman crying, holding a mobile fun. She runs to the ladies room, sobbing.

wow that's so exciting!!! I knew England would rise to the occasion, that's one thing I really admire about England their ability and willingness to protest

I guess I will sound stupid by asking this question but I haven't heard much of a protest on the news.. I suppose I should start tuning into BBC America and watch the news there instead of the local channels. But is this protest due to the presidents visit?
