* An attempt will be made on Michael Moore's life. A right-wing nutter will shoot him in the gut during one of his public appearances. It's not clear whether he will die or not. The assassin will tell Barbara Walters that he did it because Michael Moore is unpatriotic and a traitor.

* In October, George W. Bush will present to the world the body of Bin Laden. His position in the presidential race will shoot up and he will be re-elected (this might also be due to Ralph Nadder not getting out of the way and stealing the "good" votes from Kerry.)

* Coldplay release their third album at the end of the year. Massive radio play. Suicide figures go up.

* The movie Troy runs for 12 Oscars. Everyone praises the scene with the wooden horse. Avid fans post all over the net a slow-mow scene from the movie where you can see Brad Pitt is wearing nothing underneath his leather skirt. Brad Pitt threatens to sue.

* Just before embarking on a trip to Brazil, I decide to buy a lottery ticket. I win 13 million pounds! Livejournal friends bully me for money. Much defriending occurs.

Keane are Coldplay with only keyboards and a drumset. Travis are Keane with a Scottish accent. Starsailor are Travis singing with A&R men squeezing their nuts. And Snow Patrol, well... I'd rather not.
