numbers 10 and 4 are grand.

I suspected so... Roxette is the soundtrack of my years between 13 and 15. And ABBA nicely covers my memories betwee 4 and 7.

hey, I have "Take it like a Man" somewhere- do you want it if I find it?

[identity profile] purplethings.livejournal.com 2004-06-22 06:56 am (UTC)(link)
of course! I bought it at Heathrow for flight-reading and it was very good. It made me want to be him even more than I already did. ^_^

[identity profile] commonpeople.livejournal.com 2004-06-22 06:59 am (UTC)(link)
aww... I read somewhere that it was supposed to be really funny. Cool. if you find it, then put it aside for the next BBQ we go to - you can give it to me then.

:P

Were you a big Culture Club fan when you were a kid? I was.

[identity profile] purplethings.livejournal.com 2004-06-22 07:07 am (UTC)(link)
well... as much as I could be at 5 years old :P I 'm ickler than thou! But yep, I remember being 4 or 5 and seeing the video for Karma Chamelon on the TV (I wrote a post in my old journal about this Ages ago, actually!) and decided right then I wanted to be Boy George. I was in love with him and every time I hear that song it makes me feel all gooey and young again. aaaaah. :)

[identity profile] commonpeople.livejournal.com 2004-06-22 07:08 am (UTC)(link)
I remember seeing that video as well when I was quite young, probably 9 or 10, and being completely baffled - he was the first person who really seemed magical to me, plus the song was just ace.

Concerning (8): do you have Pokémon Ruby or Sapphire for GBA?

[identity profile] commonpeople.livejournal.com 2004-06-23 01:55 am (UTC)(link)
I don't have a GBA!

*Another outrageous confession*

[identity profile] iifu.livejournal.com 2004-06-23 02:52 am (UTC)(link)
It's just that Colosseum is so much more fun when you can pitch your own Pokémon in the ring. Well, Stadium 1 & 2 were anyway ~ haven't played this one yet.
