Glossy page beauty at 11 o'clock

There's a supermodel sitting across from me in the library. I can't remember the last time I sat so near a woman who doesn't look human. I'm trying to spot a flaw but there's nothing. The hair is lush and dark, long and trendily cut. She's got long eye-lashes, blue eyes, olive skin and tiny little blonde hairs on her arms. Oh wait... she's pouting a little bit (flaw number 1) and she keeps looking around (flaw number 2). She cares what we think.

I went swimming today for the first time in two weeks. Now that the mornings are dark and cold, I find it very hard to get up at 6:30 am, walk to the gym for 20 minutes, swim for 45 minutes, blow dry my hair, then walk for 20 minutes back home. When I got to the gym this morning, the men's room had become the women's room, and vice-versa. They do this stuff a lot, usually when there's maintenance work. Why the genders can't stay in their respective rooms is a mystery to me - I don't see how relevant it is for us to suddenly use the girls room.

The main fun today will be meeting Mister and Missis Love Muffin. We are going to have some dinner around Baker Street (where the fictitious Sherlock Holmes once lived) then go to the movies: Korean extreme-violence fare, apparently, called "Oldboy".

I've heard that's supposed to be really good, I was thinking about going to see it aswell, infact I might on Monday...

Let me know what it's like! =o)

Sure. It won the Grand Prix in Cannes so I think it will be very good.

Yeah, "perfect" people like that model-looking girl you described aren't attractive to me at all. I think you have to have flaws to be beautiful.

I find "perfect" people to be offputting because I can imagine how much work they have in maintaining that image. Someone who is more natural, with flaws but also with some beauty, is more interesting.

no kidding about those early mornings. i can't muster the endurance to shower before work at 7am, because to me, there's nothing worse than stepping wet out of a shower, into my cold room, and FREEZING. two cups of coffee doesn't even fix that.

Do you have your own bathroom or do you have to share?

i share with one girl. luckily, neither of us has made the other wait too long :)

That's good. I share with 3 other people and it can be tough sometimes. Yesterday, I had a bit of tiff with one of the Sissys. She broke a glass in the bathroom weeks ago and yesterday, while cleaning, I still found shards!
