London, A Biography is an amazing book. Really. Read it. It's fascinating, and it'll make you see London entirely differently - in a good way :D
Ooh, Arctic Dreams sounds interesting!
What is Casa De Sete Mulheres (House of SEven Women, right?)? At a glance I thought it was La Casa De Bernarda Alba, the Lorca play (which, if you've not read, then DO READ IT!).
So... I haven't read any of those books... I dont even know any of those books!!! :_( But I can recommend you the best book I've read lately: "Memoria de mis putas tristes" ("Memories of my sad whores" should be the english transcription... but I don't know!), from Gabriel Garcia Márquez. He keeps on sticking me to his printed words in a magical way!!!
