Links for writers
A magazine in Manchester looking for writers: http://www.transmissionhq.org
Plus, Lots of stuff for writers here.
I just noticed that Transmission's website doesn't have the up-to-date information about submissions for their next volume.
Transmission Magazine is looking for short stories and artwork that is original, diverse and worthwhile for tri-annual publication.
We are now accepting submissions for Issue #04 on the theme of "the North". Successful submissions should interpret the theme in the widest possible sense.
Writers (prose only and we are particularly interested in Northern writers) should send all submissions to mailto:transmission@letterboxes.org 3000 words maximum or 500 words maximum for micro-fiction. Submit as MS Word Document. All writers should include 50 words max. about themselves. Multiple submissions are welcome.
DEADLINE FOR ISSUE #4 SUBMISSIONS: 1st OCTOBER 2005
Artists should express interest a.s.a.p. by sending an example of work (in JPEG format) to mailto:transmission@letterboxes.org. Successful applicants will then be sent writing at a later date to interpret/illustrate as they wish.
No payment is offered for any submission, although contributors do receive a copy of the magazine.
