I convinced Kevin to go for a walk with me in Victoria Park. Most of the grass was soggy and covered with brown leaves. Although it was sunny, the air was cold and the lanes were practically empty. A group of men played rugby; joggers puffed by; dogs tried to catch squirrels (which later sat on high branches calling out to each other); and a few cyclists nearly ran me over. We bought bagels with cream cheese and salmon, plus coffees, and found a bench to eat our lunch. We talked again about moving to Canada in the summer, and what we should be getting out of London before the move.

As summer approaches, I get the feeling our resolution to leave England will grow weaker.

We then bought butter, eggs, The Guardian and a birthday card. Most pubs and coffee shops we walked past were empty. I'll be leaving home soon to meet friends downtown, for dinner and birthday celebrations. I should be working on my NaNoWriMo but...
