haha, probably won't be tombs this time. according to the program I have it'll be Bentley Priory which is somewhere close to Harrow. Volunteers will be working on the marsh area, the dell, the stream or many of the glades dotted around the site' (from the booklet I have) check out the calendar:

any news from the gay/lesbian volunteering?

the boots, well, some people had wellies, other wore sneakers or whatever. I have sturdy shoes but they are definitely not boots. and I am too poor to buy proper ones, too. I am actually thinking about getting more involved with btcv, if that happens I'll get some.

When you say more involved, what do you mean? Finding a job with them?

I used to get an e-mail newsletter from the gay/lesbian section of BTCV, but it hasn't come in months now. Maybe it's gone into hiatus?

well, first of all more volunteering per se. and they have (unpaid) volunteer officer positions where you commit yourself to a certain number of days (2-4 a week) and get all the courses for free and get leadership training etc. and since I am a student I am quite flexible, especially during the summer. but I cannot do it until the taught part of my course has finished which is some point in May.
