Day 22 - Grey

Wake up and go fetch the kittens. Bring them back to bed. It’s grey outside.

Make coffee and eat porridge, then back to bed. It’s grey outside.

Ask brother to drive you to local town for a buzz at the barber, then straight back home. It’s grey outside.

Do laundry after lunch even though your mom warns you: looks like rain, it’s grey outside.

Iron pillow covers, bed sheets and towels. Carry mop and bucket to apartment and clean it. Large drops hit your hanging blankets. It’s grey outside.

Cuddle kittens during the soap opera’s last week. It’s dark outside.

It's much the same in London this week. Apart from a clear day on Tuesday it's like the sun barely bothers to come up at all.

We are now getting some strong thunderstorms, counterbalanced by sunshine on other days. I spent all day in the garden today but it looks like rain tomorrow (i.e. blankets, books and Netflix!)
