Morrissey's Wobbling Voice
I just heard Morrissey's new single "That's How People Grow Up" on BBC Radio 6 (best radio station in the world EVAH, in case you didn't know).
The song starts with a dramatic opera singer, reminiscent of Klaus Nomi (whom Morrissey loved - intentional reference?) before the song properly kicks off. It sounds like a single from his "Viva Hate", "Bona Drag" period.
I like. Then again, I can't take the blinders off when it comes to him.

It's too bad Radio 6 is only digital. I'd like to hear it at home too, but it can only be done through the TV (which I don't like). But here at work, where I'm all lonesome during the week, it works as perfect company.

a) an old stereo that the ex-manager of Deep Purple used for when he was painting his home, and gave to us in 2001;
b) and an old stereo that a Malaysian student bought in Egham, then gave to a friend of mine, who then passed it on to us.
As you can see, we really need to update our music listening experience!
