However I just read about the Kerr metric, which has to do with the movement of space around black holes. Basically there is the possibility that if you aren't destroyed by the gravity black hole you would go through and land in an alternate dimension similar to the one you just left, in which case you might still have to catch the bus. It just might be going in a different direction...
