- Oh golly, this heat is absolutely unbearable - I CANNOT WAIT FOR THE WINTERTIME (http://youtube.com/watch?v=OtogWJ-QqnA) - That first picture is the least attractive thing I've ever seen in all of my life - My mother often listens to Summertime, sometimes on repeat
Hahah you should expect lots of very British complaint about the heat...we don't like any kind of weather, you know! (actually, I love the sun! Bring on global warming ;-))
This post is partly in response to some complaint I've seen already on LJ. Fair enough, people are used to different things, but I can't believe summer is so unlikeable when it's just so... damn good!
And I was thinking of you today as I was walking back from Tesco's, through Snake Park. I remembered you telling me that you enjoyed the sun too. :-)
Forget about them. Enjoy it now babycakes. How about you invite that brasilian neighbour of yours to visit the local pool? Lend him one of your speedos too.
I love humid days. You can then sleep with no sheets, just in your underwear, with the windows open. It's only too bad we don't have the sea, to wake up in the morning and go for a swim in it. :-)
I heard it last week in my gym, pumped at full blast, and it seemed to make total sense and finally be OK for me. But yeah, it was never anything special until then. I think most songs of this sort need to be heard really loud in order to be enjoyed (something about the bass line?)
I suppose you're probably right, there. Though I can't think at this moment of any song that that's happened to me. Of course soon something will happen, I bet!
