Kevin and Sissy Jen bought plane tickets to Canada this Christmas... with Zoom Airlines.

I'm guessing they'll be OK because they bought their tickets with credit cards... or at least I hope so. Anyone got experience with buying from a company that goes bankrupt?

They are sending him a form to complete. Hopefully that should sort things out.

One thing I'd forgotten when I wrote this post is that Kevin's other sister was about to come visit us (next week). We haven't heard back from her but we are pretty sure she was booked with Zoom too... :-(

My friend bought plane tickets to South Africa using a credit card over the summer. the company went bust but they got the money back no problem. Hope they have the same luck! x

OMG! Well, all I can think of is that they can dispute the charges on their bills if the company won't reimburse them.

It looks like the credit company will reimburse them. But Sissy Alison was about to come visit us (next week) and we haven't heard from her yet whether she was flying Zoom or not... she probably was. :-/

Awww, man! She went back to Canada, right? Aram first told me about this airline, it's a shame it went belly up.

That really sucks...I've heard both good and bad stories from friends trying to get their money back after an airline went bust...fingers crossed Kevin and your friend get theirs back without any hassle.
