What I find works well at the British Museum is to go in and look at only one room. It's too full of people and quite overwhelming (tiring) otherwise, and I also think you get more of looking at just one room very carefully rather than sweeping throught the whole thing! But yeah, it would be fun to do that soon!
Cutting through the British Museum is the quickest way to get from my bus stop to university during term-time. Walking past mummies is a nice way to start the day.
