Can't Think about Tomorrow
Jun. 8th, 2003 10:11 amI have a shopping day planned:
* to buy blank CDs for LJ friends' burning.
* to buy underwear & socks
* to buy a pair of trousers, perhaps
* to buy to buy to buy bye bye bye
why do we go on about the things we buy? Or at least I do... "is it getting better? Or do you feel the same? will it make it easier on you now, you've got someone to blame?"
I spent the week thinking about things to buy on the weekend... but it's only because I have money now. When I had no money (i.e. last month) my only concern was making it to the public library before they closed, maybe splurging on a few croissants. Exercise was going for a 3-hour walk in the North West of London, as opposed to joining a gym. Clothes were whatever was not washed, or which came from Kevin's side of the wardrobe and that fit me. Gaming was finding ways to flatter and tease my Livejournal friends, instead of playing Gamecube.
