Happiness foiled again
Jun. 10th, 2003 11:59 amI don't remember the last time I felt as angry as last night. I had spent the whole day looking forward to watching The Importance of Being Morrissey, only to discover that the videotape stopped recording half-way through the documentary. At first I thought Silke had turned the VCR off (since the TV is in her room) but she told me she was fast asleep… and I believe her.
I wasn't meant to see it, I guess.
But I did manage to see someone who might be a Livejournal friend.
katlive told me she had been interviewed by the producers in Australia. I saw someone that looked like her (from what I can gather from her tiny icon), in Sydney, talking about his new material being great. Was that you?
And Morrissey is looking as great as ever, more mature but still deserving all of my respect. And he's funny, and he seems happier, and I'm over the moon with this new record deal he has with Sanctuary. They even gave him his own label, Attack, so he can find new talents. The irony? Attack was a reggae label. All those critics who called Morrissey a racist must be stewing in their venom. The reason why Sanctuary gave him Attack was exactly because he showed himself to know so much about Reggae.
