Day 68 - Supermarket
Apr. 1st, 2020 07:24 pmOur monthly allowance arrived today, and so my brother and I braved the town’s bank and supermarket.
We were expecting long queues, but the bank was empty and the supermarket was OK, a short wait to get in, then fairly easy to move around and get everything we needed for the month.
Maybe Brasil is lucky, maybe Brasil entered the quarantine early enough to avoid panic buying. I saw people carrying only a few items; I felt like a hoarder with my crammed shopping trolley.
My excuse is that I care for someone elderly and must limit my supermarket trips.
