Day 68 - Supermarket

Our monthly allowance arrived today, and so my brother and I braved the town’s bank and supermarket.

We were expecting long queues, but the bank was empty and the supermarket was OK, a short wait to get in, then fairly easy to move around and get everything we needed for the month.

Maybe Brasil is lucky, maybe Brasil entered the quarantine early enough to avoid panic buying. I saw people carrying only a few items; I felt like a hoarder with my crammed shopping trolley.

My excuse is that I care for someone elderly and must limit my supermarket trips.

Seems like the advice is to shop as rarely as possible, which I think is going to mean you need to buy quite a few things in one trip! You’re fine. x

Cheers - yes, I did feel I was doing the right thing! It just felt odd.
