Need some Substance

Ryan is coming over today, and staying for a week. Then he goes back to Canada, to his boyfriend Andre, to Montreal, to a much better life than here. Shit, I want to be packed into his suitcase and taken away.

Mathematics. London + Dark Weather + Pollution + Expensive living = not a happy individual.

It doesn`t even work as a place that will inspire you to write obsessive fiction, paint the walls grey, dye your head three shades of red. Nothing. Some survey came out and apparently the English are the happiest people in Europe!!! With bands like Joy Division, The Cure, Siouxsie, and all the rest, coming out of here, you would think it was the opposite. Then you remember that Take That, Cilla Black, Spice Girls also come from here...

Problem is, everyone in London is only interested in money. And I`m not. At least not as something that substitutes a good time with friends, knowledge. My time here is counted. Kevin has downloaded stuff about immigrating to Canada, and there`s the possibility that he can sponsour me (because we have lived together for more than a year, we are considered common-law in Canada.)

i noticed your little explanation of your situation on countessolivia's journal and thought i'd come check you out. i'm originally from toronto, but am going to school in montreal. which uni did you go to? how are the immigration hopes going?
