I made a CD today of Suede’s b-sides from the last album, and a couple from “Head Music”. All very good. Now I listen to it while I run through The Guardian’s war stories. Sometimes I am willing to update myself with what’s happening in world politics… sometimes I just want to be a no-show, a quiet head on a pillow, a pair of eyes staring at a blank sky.

***********

My stomach is full with bacon, eggs, tea, sugar, chocolate, bread and butter. No lunch prospects in sight.

***********

I don’t know what to do with myself today. I went for a walk yesterday, and met Ricardo. I can’t go walking aimlessly again today, can I?

i want to live in your life for a couple days.

why are so many brazilian women so beautiful? what are brazilian men like?

i love how the french eat stuff like squares of chocolate on french bread, and dip their bread in hot cocoa and such.

i should drink more tea.

i who have never drank a full cup of coffee in my life had a "funky money" the other day at the claire de lune. ingredients: banana, chocolate, milk, 2 shots espresso. soooo horribly delicious. result: up till 3am with heart racing.

hehehe!

i'm not a typical brazilian man, so i can't speak for them...

i think brazilian women are beautiful because they live in a country where men are constantly scrutinizing them... so there's some pressure behind it. But they are also very free, fierce warriors... for every drug lord, there's a wife, a mother, a daughter. these women have to be very strong to put up with the poverty and crimes in brazil... and they somehow do it while still keeping their smiles and their desire to enjoy life.

(i love coffee! one day I'll make you a nice cup of brazilian coffee and we'll race down some beach all night long...)

yum!

i love coffee... but in England we are pressured to drink tea all the time... so i don't get it as much as I did when I lived in Canada and Brazil.

(Drug lords are bad for your health!)
