glimpses of nothing

What's happening in my life:

- Silke has gone to Hamburg for 10 days.
- Kevin left yesterday for Ireland, where he'll stay for a month.
- I bought two cans of Stella Artois and sliced brown bread.
- There's nothing on tv and I'm bored.
- Some thug almost ran me over today when I was walking home.
- Karla is coming over tomorrow for a night of caipirinhas and italian movies.
- I stayed late at work today, handling other people's crisis.
- I got the job at the Royal Free Hospital. I turned it down.
- They called wanting to know why I didn't want it. They got stroppy with my truth.
- I need to buy "work" trousers cause all my other trouserwear are threadbare.
- I thought about writing an entry based on a Smiths song. Then I thought that would be lame.
- I keep pressing the random button and leaving a message on whatever journal comes up.
- I went to the library but they didn't have any Bret Easton Ellis.
- Interpol is playing on the radio right now.

thanks... i was feeling lonely yesterday...

but it's sunny today and i'm planning on walking to the library, getting some lovely books, then sitting on a bench at Queen's Park and writing writing writing...

man, you are freaking me out lately...cause I just finished reading the rules of attraction last weekend, and then you mention seeing the movie (which I still want to see, only having read the book)...

and npw I am re-reading American Psycho, and you mention looking for Ellis books at the library...

and don't forget the weird JT Leroy coincidence a few weeks back as well...what is with our weird psychic link?

want to know something even more freaky? I was just thinking about leaving you a post where I said how much i had been thinking about you lately! I don't know why, i think it's because of what happened that night at the gig...

(so... did you like Rules of Attraction? I definetly want to read it right now!)

(reiki's philosophy is to bring people together... so maybe we are syncronizing our thoughts? I think this could become a worthy experiment, non?)

I liked the book, but I peeked at what you said about the film, cause I was curious as to how they would mae it into a movie... and it seems as though they made the film exactly like the book...cause the book also has no plot, it is just jumping between character's POVs, and it doesn't really end...

And tonight is the Delgados concert...so I am a bit nervous...but since we won't be smoking any weed in public anymore, I doubt I will pass out again...

maybe we do have a link now. So you have to come to Toronto to meet Me and Mike one day, you hear?
