Haunted by the gig

Gene's concert... a rock concert! Karla and I, by the stage, squeezed. Got dry humped by 4 different individuals in the space of 30 seconds. Had to move away or lose breath, faint, get trampled by the Gene devout >>> that I had no idea existed! Karla and I thought we would be the only ones there. Big miscalculation. 3 beers and a redbull & vodka. Empty stomachs. I screamed a bit, shouted "Libertine is Brilliant!". Martin Rossiter the singer told me to shut up! Then he winked and sent a kiss to someone over my head. Some guy standing beside us got into some trouble with the bouncers. The mosh pit came alive and people were crowd surfing.

This is a Gene concert! What's going on?

No new songs, but that's ok. We got our Olympian, Walking in the Shallows, I Can't Help Myself, For the Dead, Haunted by You...

We left, deaf as hell. Got home, had Leak & Potato soup + toast. Went to sleep deaf, woke up deaf. Lost my voice, partially.

it's a very sneaky album... you begin listening to it, not thinking much... and before you know it, you wake up in the middle of the night with songs of it stuck in your head!
