It's Kevin's birthday on sunday and I still haven't bought him a gift. I was thinking of getting him pyjamas (he wore huge holes through the last one and had to throw it away), a nice book and, perhaps, Brazil on DVD (Terry Gilliam is his favourite director.)

She has also inspired me to continue working on my own novel. I had set it originally in Montreal, but I've now decided to bring it all to London - hopefully the story will get closer to me and open new venues to be explored.
