When another Monday morning comes

Turns out I hadn't made any mistake at work... it must have been late friday apprehension creeping up on me. It was the professor who was mistaken. Everything is fine.
Today is my first day at the gym without my buddy Megan. She made me promise we would keep calling each other, trying to encourage continual use of barbells and exposure to excrusiating pop music. I won't have a problem with it: I'm going deaf in my twenties and I have a knack for lifting thick items. Remains to be seen if she'll fall off the wagon. I can call and tell her to get her ass to the gym... but will she listen?
One thing I've learned is that nobody listens to my advice.
