How can you characterize a Livejournal addict?
A Livejournal addict will write a post about travelling to another continent, say goodbye to his cyberfriends, and promise that his next post will be from that other continent - then he will break his promise and write another final post from his country of departure.
A Livejournal addict will seek an internet cafe on the day he should be packing his suitcase and getting ready to go to the airport - so he can check his friends' comments and make a post about his addiction.
A Livejournal addict says countless goodbyes but never really goes away.
A Livejournal addict keeps coming back for more and more and more. And never quite gets it.
A Livejournal addict gives the impression he will be incommunicado in the new country - but he will probably be on the internet tomorrow!
A Livejournal addict has thoughts of scouting the airplane, specially first class, for internet connections.
A Livejournal addict feels frustrated he can't read all the posts by his friends that he has missed. He hopes to be notified if anything exciting happens.
A Livejournal addict fears movies in airplanes (currently, his intuition says it will be the manky Love, Actually that will be played). He hopes his cyberfriends will pray for either Turbulence or Alive to be shown instead.
A Livejournal addict sends his love and his hugs at all times - he knows they will come back two-fold.

on 2004-02-04 05:32 am (UTC)when being carted off to the hospital on a stretcher, while thinking one is dying, a live journal addict will tell their significant other to write a post saying what has happened if they do, in fact, die
(even if it only turns out to be a severe panic attack)

on 2004-02-06 04:54 am (UTC)We begin to think in "post-terms":
should I start my next post by saying that I was in the hospital? Or use something more cryptic?
