dotintheskyIt has finally happened: the phone line got cut. I had no idea I was spending so many hours on the internet and slowly pilling up the bill. Result, we owe the phone company more than 100 pounds and I'm forced to use the internet at the nearest post office for "important" business.
Crumpets are the bee's knees.
I read a novel yesterday in one sitting: In The Cut, by Susanne Moore. It's set in New York, it features a lot of pornography and graphic descriptions of murder and mutilation. It has a sassy heroine who teaches creative writing to 19-year-old gangster dudes. It's just plain wicked and you must all go out and read it. I think they made a film with Meg Ryan (with Jane Campion as director) which, I'm sure, is infinitley inferior to the book.
And I'm close to finishing off a box of 150 paper tissues. My nose wakes me up at night, dripping and clogging the breathing pipes. At least I'm not having nightmares with N.Y.P.D. men tying me to their office desks and sodomizing me.
