I've been trying to use mine as a creative outlet, and also for humour. But it's the whole giving and taking - feeling that you have to read some abominable entries because people are reading yours - that is getting to me.
I know what you mean. I have taken quite a few people who are friends off my default view because they annoy me online which makes me feel really guilty as I imagine they would be quite hurt if I told them that...
I have luckily managed to get rid of all the truly abominable people though by a process of stealth and cunning - things have improved a lot since I don't have to wade through bigoted, pseudo depressive, whiney, self righteous crap on a daily basis! Next I will be starting on the people who post memes and quizzes all the time...
