LJ can be more interesting if you regularly socialise with the people on your friends list as you see your name mentioned more(!) and an event writeup takes on more significance as you were actually there. So that's a hint to come out and see us all more often ;p
I won't defriend people who behave overly attention-seeking, but I will mark them as such in my mind and just not bother with them anymore.
I'm trying to come out of my shell... it's difficult because I lead such a quiet life with Kevin and I'm not used to going out that much anymore. It's easy for me to make up excuses and stay at home. But, having said that, I feel that I had fun that time at Suzi's so I'm looking forward to our next rendez-vous.
It is always easier to stay at home, especially if home is nice and warm and requires no effort. But I usually find that once I'm out and actually at $venue, I'm glad I came. It just takes the initial leap to get it together I think :-)
