When I woke up this morning, Kevin whispered that Jennifer (the eldest Sissy) had brought a man home. Kevin had woken up in the middle of the night and heard them talking in her bedroom. I got into the shower and had images of her coming into our bedroom to borrow clothes for her "visitor". After shaving, I wrapped a towel around myself and went back to the bedroom. One minute later Jennifer came in and jumped on my bed.

"Oliver"

"What..."

"I have a big favour to ask you..." Turns out it was casual day at her work and Dan, her colleague & night visitor, didn't want to wear his work trousers from the previous day. She asked if he could borrow a pair of jeans from me until Monday.

[Poll #396829]

I didn't get to see Dan leave the apartment; I was eating a bagle with cream cheese in the kitchen. The other Sissy, Allison, walked into the kitchen in a fit of giggles when she discovered there was a stranger in our midst. Kevin left for his class before I could say goodbye. London was covered in fog when I walked out of the building.

It was a proper old-fashioned pea souper when I left for work this morning. I was worried I might get murdered by Jack The Ripper, or have my lunch money pinched by Oliver Twist. But hopefulluy Sherlock Holmes would have been on hand to catch him...

It was lovely wasn't it? Then it all disappeared by 9 am...

You live in Shepherd's Bush right? I'm just by Royal Oak.

Heh heh, I can expect warnings from you then on mornings when the Hammersmith and City Line is running with massive delays?

Er, that would be just about every day, wouldn't it...

Actually, I don't take the Tube anymore... but if you ever need to take the No.18, give me a shout and I'll teach you the best way of kicking your way in.

On one hand it's sort of rude of them to ask on the other hand I would probably let him.

It was very rude... but I lent him the jeans based on Jennifer's opinion. In any case, if anything happens to it then she'll pay for it.

Haha! Really? You never woke up to find a stranger in your house that needed to borrow your jeans?
