I like your bug poem ;)
I hope I understood it right... what does xula mean?

Xula means something of low quality, of poor taste.

;-)

Did you learn a bit of Portuguese with your ex?

Quite a bit... I even started Portugese classes but Portugese from Portugal can be so different. They put the words in the wrong order. ;)

Yeah... it's quite different. Portuguese in Brazil has the influence of Native, African, German, Italian and French words... all brought there by the immigrants and the people who already lived there. I think Portugal's language hasn't changed much in the past 500 years.

Que poema tão linda, meu! =o)

Suponho que não quer dizer "bicha" no sentido literal, mas no sentido de gíria brasileira, verdade? Acho que sim, por causa do título! =oD

Sim... giria brasileira. Ouvi dizer que "bicha" em Portugal quer dizer "line-up"? Verdade?

Sim, "line-up" ou "queue" =o)

Hehe, é tão engraçado que uma só palavra pode ter significados tão distintos!!

Bicha is the brazilian word for fag. The other words are all adjectives that varie between the nice and the downright NASTY.

It will take centuries to translate it... let's leave it to the future monks.
