hehehe :) hey, i'm from germany, we don't freak out over nudity :) (it was funny though, when i first saw the movie i was in the united states and when the penis showed, a bunch of girls jumped up, screaming 'OH MY GOD!!!!!!!!!!', and ran out angrily..hehe)
but the ten minutes or so following that scene were the best ever..him walking through the abandoned city, all these amazing shots and godspeed you black emperor getting louder and louder..so amazing!

Yes, those initial scenes were really cool. It's very near where I work, so I remember thinking how difficult it must have been for them to get the streets emptied out (they shot the scenes in the early hours of the morning, just on the break of dawn.)
I have reoccuring dreams with zombies, so I made sure to go see that movie when it first came out. I know some people don't like it, but I personally felt like I was on a rollercoaster the whole way through it.
i thought it was by far the most aesthetic zombie movie ever made...and it seriously is my favorite film. i owned it before i even had a dvd player! hehehe
