The US version has digital images covering up the action in the orgy scene. I have a copy of the Asian version which doesn't have those, maybe the european version doesn't either?
I don't know if it is the largest consumer of porn, but I do know it is the most hypcorite nation as far as it's values are concerned.
Technically the scenes aren't edited but digitally altered. Since Kubrick had final cut on all his pictures by contract the studio couldn't cut out any scenes. However he died days after completeing the editing of the film and supposedly leaving those images intact would give it an N -17 rating and the contract for the film required it to be rated R in America. So the studio and the Kubrick estate decided to put digital images of people (some naked women) infront of the hardcore action. So they can't release and uncut version in America beeacause the film wasn't cut by the studio at all.
The silliest thing about the whole situation is that they ended up just digitally smudging the print of a cinematic master just to give a film which couldn't be more mature in thematic content another adult rating.
no, just stuff I saw at a film festival (The Flaming Film Festival!!) in Minneapolis. One was this semi-amateur one with a straight-acting guy who liked his girlfriend to fuck him up the ass and went around looking for skinhead boys to put bottles & stuff up his ass. there was a scene where he went to a place where you could like, wrestle or something? and it was hot. like in Brokeback right before they start fighting for real.
I have never seen gay porn that wasn't pound-pound-pound. I've heard that Walsh West directs interesting stuff (he made one that's a spoof on The Ring). Kevin and I once rented a sci-fi one, with green aliens, and it was hilarious (though the guys were kinda buff-ugly.) Frisky Summer is good if you like hot eastern european guys!
well yeah, I guess gay porn and straight porn are pretty much the same thing most of the time. That's why I prefer sex scenes in movies. Like the one in Meet Joe Black - he looks like it's his first time, all surprised at how good it feels. *grin*
