Your Picture With Me, Love

I was walking home this evening when I noticed a vinyl LP resting on a brick wall, by some rubbish bins. It was Iris Williams' 1980 album "Picture Me Love".
The record itself is in mint condition and there's a sticker on the front cover that shows it was once sold in a second-hand shop for £1. She's facing the viewer, hands on her hips, in a low-cut red evening dress. She has a silver bracelet on her right arm and two necklaces, also silver. She's smiling. When you turn over the LP, it's the same photo, but this time she's looking kinda serious.
I can't find anything of hers from the 80s on YouTube, so you'll just have to do with Bewitched from a couple of years ago.
I wish I had a record player...

on 2008-08-06 07:01 pm (UTC)When I had to replace my old one about five years ago, I got a new turntable for £12.99 in Argos. They don't seem to sell them any more though. Sorry.
