I don't know how similar Uncle-ing is to Auntie-ing, but I know that it's a blast having nieces and nephews--it's like having kids of your own...but not. ;)
That's what I imagine! Since I'll never have any of my own (or at least it looks like that so far) I want my brother to have tons to make up for it. :-)
But yes, it is a joy to have nieces and nephews--my little heart just goes, 'Awwwww' whenever one of those brats calls me, 'Auntie Tara'--I just melt. Wait, did I just say that? We never had this conversation.
