Our town finally closed all businesses today, apart from grocery stores.

We are lucky to live near a lady who supplies fresh veggies and fruits grown by local farmers. For anything else, my brother and I are planning short trips to the nearest supermarket, during quiet times, to buy what's needed for the month.

Brasilians either ignore what’s happening, don’t know enough, or can’t afford to quit their work and stay at home. So many people live on the borderline of poverty.

I fear the giant stadiums empty of football games will very soon be filled with the sick.

I got my answer.

The thing about this pandemic is it’s exponential growth. By the time we start to worry, it’s out of control.

Keep safe, Oliver- yourself, your family and your mum. Take care.
