Day 65 - Sunshine

dotintheskyI took a break from the news yesterday. Sunshine was out, butterflies all over the place.
I pulled out weeds. I dug up holes. I planted sunflowers, daisies, spinach and basil. I watered them. Then I took pictures and videos of my work.
Late afternoon, went for a swim. The pool was cold; my restlessness warmed up the water.
Do I need a daily breakdown of tragedy across the planet? Do I need to share with other people’s anxieties? Or should I shelter within myself, because there’s truly nothing else I can do at this moment? Shelter under the sun?
