Day 99 - Nostalgia

The last T-shirt I bought in London was of Siouxsie and the Banshees in Camden market, for an 80s work party. I haven’t worn it since.

Old friends from university reminisce on WhatsApp: remember our residence hall? Remember the first time we met? Their main memory of me: sad eyes.

Every conversation with my mother is a recollection from the distant past. Her happy childhood, the freedom she felt owning a car. ‘When it was a grey day like today, I liked inviting my girlfriends to go to the cinema.’

How will you remember 2020? The pandemic? Better choose well.

It's strange. I've been listening a looooooooot to 80s metal over the past week or two. I think my brain is starting to feel like because the present and the future don't seem particularly real, it's just retreating into the past. :(

Same here! I've been having so many flashbacks, memories I hadn't accessed before coming back to me. Random stuff like temps I may have worked with, films seen with friends - very very random memories.
