[Error: unknown template qotd]I don't mind beards though I think those designer ones are ridiculous (the ones trimmed like a line, with a smooth neck).

As someone once said, goatees are the mouth's mulet.

Mustaches are vile and should be banned.

How do you feeling about KISSING people with beards?

I've never kissed one, so I don't know (does stubble count?) But I imagine it's dead sexy and I hope the american is growing one right now just for you! ;-)

It's not, it's like kissing a Brillo pad, and if he does I am withholding all services for the foreseeable.

But what if it's shampooed and conditioned, nice and soft to the touch (like a puppy after a bath?) Isn't that nice?

It's a BEARD, Ollie, not a small furry animal. Pouring conditioner on barbed wire won't make it soft.

The stubble burn (well, beard burn)is hell. They're still very attractive on men though. Unlike mustaches, which are just indescribably silly.

The moustache was what stopped him from reaching god-like heights!

I wholeheartedly agree that mustaches are vile. My boyfriend doesn't understand why I feel so strongly about this issue.

Ask him how he would feel about dating a woman with a moustache. He might come around to the issue.

I love having a beard. I look really bad without one.

I would like to defend moustaches, which are everywhere in NY right now and oh so very attractive.

They are everywhere here too, on the usual suspects. I want to go at them with a clipper.

Ha. I probably just like because it self-identifies men as too hip and impressed with themselves to be relationship material, which is my catnip.

I'd like to see a mustache-clipper London version of this story for sure though: http://www.nytimes.com/2011/10/18/us/hair-cutting-attacks-stir-fear-in-amish-ohio.html

What a weird story. Reminds me of the young Sikh who came home with his head shaved and claimed he'd been attacked by a group of racists. Later they discovered he'd done it himself (because he wanted to be more western, plus he was secretly gay). What is it with hair?

Even better, he plays the harp and sings like an angel while doing so. Very easy to daydream about him playing something else....
