Day 53 - Depression
Mar. 3rd, 2020 03:18 pmMy brother and I were in Cambuí with our mother for our weekly grocery shopping when a woman approached the car. “I’m giving away all my change today,” my brother said, selecting some coins.
But she didn’t want coins, she wanted a lift to the clinic where she collects her depression medication. The clinic’s driver meant to pick her up hadn’t shown up. You could hear the shaking and worry in her voice.
The clinic was only a few blocks away, behind the town’s church.
“May God bless you,” she said. “God blesses all those who help others.”
