Got a feeling in the wrong direction...
Jan. 20th, 2003 10:43 amExcited about seeing City of God today… because I`m brasilian, because I hear the movie is good, because it`s about a culture I know little (the culture of the ghetto), because I haven`t been to the movies in a while (last time was The Two Towers).
Have you seen it? Did you like it?
I`m at work, 37 minutes into it. I thought today was going to be busy… I guess I was wrong. Kelly and Judith aren`t here yet, everyone skives when they can.
It would be… very nice… if I could listen to some music while I stare at my starch walls. I could pretend there were windows, a sun, fresh air coming in. Instead, I`m looking at the exposed wires above my head and trying not to think of entrails…
I`m reading Sailing to Sarantium. I went to the library last Thursday, just dying to read a fantasy novel. But I didn`t want anything cheap, or attached to Dungeons and Dragons… I was very lucky with my option. This book is brilliant.
