I hereby decree the death of the word cool. It was used and abused during the 90s, and there are even some allegations that it was taken advantage of in the 80s. But no more. It's dead and you can go out and tell your friends I told you so.
Describing things as cool or as not cool just isn't enough anymore. If using it for people, you are better off describing them as scary or not scary. And with global warming, the only places where you might get away with using this dead word are at the polar caps.
The word is made redundant from overuse. Something akin to that other moribund word, love.
