I'm not in love with Twiggy
The day, to be perfect:
- I'm home alone. I've rented three videos: Morvern Callar, The Hours, Final Destination 2.
- I take a long bath, listening to Kevin's walkman. The water is filled with Honey & Vanilla bubbles, thanks to Sainsbury's.
- I'm orgasomatic.
- I eat a boiled egg, three slices of baked bread, strawberry yogurt, some salted peanuts and cashew nuts. And Earl Grey tea with milk and honey.
- I'm now drinking Fanta Lemon in an Orangina glass.
- The time will come for us to die, no memories left to cry... let us burn and smoulter too.
- All I wanted was to be free... music was my only joy.
- I'm contemplating the bananas in the glass bowl, just to my right.
- I won't forgive any politicians today.
- Sunday television sucks. We taped Ed Wood last night. Carrie, from Sex and the City was in it.
- I like being on my own. I enjoy my control over silence.
- I hate people who talk just to fill up space. If you have nothing to say, shut the fuck up. And don't fucking repeat yourself otherwise I'll smash your head through the window, tear your guts out, serve you to the crows that perch on the neighbouring roofs.
- I feel peaceful and happy.
- I might rent more movies tonight.

Frida was the trailer before The Hours... it looked very good (despite having Ashely Judd, one of the worst actresses of recent time.) Have you seen The Hours?
There was a documentary in the DVD, about Virginia Woolf's life. She was the most beautiful woman... I want to travel back in time, sit in a garden with her, and just listen to her.

Julianne Moore is wonderful is this movie. Every woman is this movie is brilliant.

I also love that other one, with the funny electro sounds, that goes like this:
"I don't know why ya ya ya...
All the kids are out, listening to the radio..."
eh, can't remember much now! :o)

I was hoping that would be one of your favorites!

Kevin had to push me to the bed because I had that song on repeat and I was dancing around the bedroom. I started grabbing his arms and trying to make him dance with me. He said I needed to chill out, and he turned the stereo down.
:o(
I'm going to BUY SOME CDS!!! ;]

btw, you're "my gay boy in Britain." I love the gay boys, I don't see how everyone doesn't.

;o]
i once knew a girl who told me she never ever spoke after watching a movie. She just wanted to be quiet and think... i think she was right.
The whole thing about talking is definetly a gay men and women sin... there just seems to be a lot of men and women who just go on and on, but when you pay attention to what they are saying, well... they ain't saying much! I'm usually very patient, but I guess I had to express some ANGER at that!
;oP
But you can talk my ears off now because I'm feeling better...

And I just told my roomie a story and you came up and I say "my gay Morrissey boy in Britain." I love your history, so I'm all 'You know, the Brazilian born in S. Africa, educated in Singapore and Canada and now living in England." Heheh...she was also amused.
I have decided that I shall dress as Morrissey for next Halloween, gaudy necklace tied to my belt with a too-small button up shirt (so my hipbones can show when I throw my hands up in the air and do weird little hip wiggles) beneath a thin suit jacket of oddly contrasting patterns, jeans and a large bouquet in my back pocket. I've got bangs, so I can easily have Morrissey hair. Now I just have to decide whether to do the glasses or not. I'll have to find some at a thrift store if I decide to. hee hee! only now I'm all sorts of inconsolable b/c I would have to figure out what I want to be two weeks after Halloween, right?

I wish I could be you Johnny Marr! The last time I dressed up for Halloween, I was the spirit of the 80s... it was so much fun.
maybe you'll have to take some pics of your self as Morrissey and let us judge/tell you what needs improvement and what is ace.
Don't forget the gladioli!

Talking is good but what people don't say is always more interesting.
I will miss our daytime lj fests!

I had a great time with you on Friday... it was either you, or leaving early for home because of the boredom... so I'm glad God put you on this planet!
;o]
Final Destination 2 was very camp... I loved the pile up scene... and I've also begun thinking about the (unintentional) metaphysical questions raised by the movie:
- are there ironic signs laying around us that point to the manner we will die? For example, the singer from the Mamas and the Papas died from chocking a ham sandwich... she was fat and she was lying in bed... it could have been a death in Final Destination!
- are we unable to escape fate, unless we confront it full on? Everyone in the movie who tried to escape their deaths (or was saved by somebody else) dies... but the heroine plunges herself into the river, following her visions, and is saved (but does that mean that the Doctor dies later on?) And the heroine managed a clean slate for herself, but what about the cop??

FD2 is just so great. The pile up was brilliant although I was hiding behind a pillow for most of it.
I do believe quite strongly in fate so the film made me think quite a bit as well. There were so many plot holes in it though that it was untrue. The cop's part being one of them!

this time, the terrorist is an agent of death and the heroes/heroines have to catch the terrorist if they want to stop death!
